Baked halibut with bamboo shoots and leeks
Ingredients
Halibut
Leeks
Bamboo shoots
Orange habanero peppers
Meyers lemon
Sesame oil
Grounded black pepper
Preparation
Marination
Dice the leeks into slices. Chop pieces of the habanero peppers into a thin shape like a star. Steam fresh bamboo shoots or from a can. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl with sesame oil. Add fish sauce, salt, grounded black pepper, and Meyers lemon. Let it all marinate.
Baking
Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Place halibut with its marination into the oven in a pan. Bake for approximately 20 minutes.
Garnish the completed halibut with a few slices of orange habanero peppers for presentation. Bon appetite.
